Real estate, criminal cases, inheritance
Since 2020, buyers from outside the EU/EEA, including Ukrainians, need a permit from the Finnish Ministry of Defence to purchase real property (kiinteistö). This does not apply to apartments in housing companies (shares in an asunto-osakeyhtiö).
- Real estate: purchases of apartments (asunto-osakeyhtiö) and houses, Ministry of Defence purchase permits, transaction due diligence, disputes with the housing company (taloyhtiö)
- Mortgage financing for foreigners
- Criminal cases: defense in proceedings, challenging fines, deportation risk
- Inheritance: handling Ukrainian estates for those living in Finland, the European Certificate of Succession, wills
